Problem with Featured Ads

I have just installed but during testing whenever I feature an ad it comes up double. How can I fix this??

what do you mean by double? the listing is put twice in the same category? or you mean it's listed in its category and then also on the index page?
if also on the index page, then this is a mod that the template creator put on there
