I recently purchased one license of phpLD to install on a new domain (undeveloped - in process) and play around with it there to see if it was comfortable to work with and would suite my purposes for a different existing website. I just installed it in top directory and it was pretty basic - had no problems with mods templates etc that provided instructions.

I am now looking at purchasing the phpld with bids script & dictionary script but need to know whether this is straight forward and "do-able" by myself or whether I should be looking at hiring someone to do it.

-Can these be integrated with each other?
-or do they just need to be linked separately?
-are their any mods available for this?

Also I haven't really worked with php or mysql other than following step by step documentation for editing look and feel.
-How different is it fr. installing in top level directory? Can I just create a subdirectory and install it?
-Am I going to have to do anything special to ensure that I don't overwrite existing database tables etc that may possibly have the same name?
-Any documentaion for installing in a subdirectory?

Thanks ;)

I would say that uploading into a folder and installing is pretty easy, but if you want us to do it the charge is only $20, so either way is fine with us.

I would say it is easier to interlink the two products versus try to integrate them together.

As far as installing in a subdirectory, you just upload the files and follow the on screen instructions (and view the readme). I would recommend using a different mysql database to avoid any chance of overwriting your existing installation if that is possible.

The PHP Dictionary script is a more basic script, and slightly more difficult for a beginner to install, so just let us know if you get into trouble on that.

Thanks,
