I logged onto my site today and the phpLD sections weren't loading. So I wondered what the hell was going on... this is using 2.0 by the way.

so I was looking through my remote folders and saw that in temp>templates there were a about 20 files like this:

en^%%C6^C6F^C6F9157C%%conf_profile.tpl.php
en^%%D0^D0B^D0BAFE5D%%search.tpl.php
...

I proceeded to delete all of these files and it started working again. I see that they are being generated again and I am assuming these are being written on the fly, but what made it stop working and why did this occur. These directories are chmoded to 777 and was the first thing I checked.

What happened?

You removed the cached copies of your files, causing a new cache to be created.

first, thanks for the extremely fast answer. :o

ok... so it was not working because potentially the last time the cached copies were created they weren't created properly, hence why the directory portion wasn't working right?

I can't tell you why it wasn't working right without more information, especially without being able to recreate the problem.

Understandable. Would you like me to contact you the next time it occurs?

And again, great work on the directory. I will be donating very soon.

Sure, next time it occurs, copy the cache files before you delete them.
Thanks

Hello

David, you said: "You removed the cached copies of your files, causing a new cache to be created."

Because the English is not my native language could you explain this more clearly?

I have deleted this files a few days ago form my phpLD. Is there a problem? Is it related to my login/logout problems? What you suggest me?

Thanks.

Content visible to registered users only.

Have you solved the login/logout problem?
You could certainly try deleting these files in the temp folder to see if it helps.

Hello

Clear the cache. Deleted all files in temp and its sub-dirs.
Login and logout.
close browser.
open browser.

Still can not login. Problem is not solved.

I have to clear the cache or back + refresh to be able to login again.

Ok, you better PM me
FTP and admin login details so I can get someone to take a look.
Are you running 2.0 or 3.0?
