Hello All,

i want to create a Gambling Directory so is this a good idea ? from where i can get categories ? also any other suggestions will really help lot :)

also can i accept payment via paypal for a Gambling Link ?

Yes, phpLD uses paypal as the primary method of payment, but make sure you are careful to read about the guidelines concerning gambling on Paypal's site. You may need to manually enter categories.

If you are in the US (or hold a US PayPal account), Gambling is a big no-no as far as PayPal are concerned, due to measures introduced by the US Government. If you hold a PayPal account in Europe, you should be fine accepting PayPal, although I cannot attest to all countries.

PayPal's localised Acceptable use policy usually reflects local legislation and in the UK, the government took the opposite approach to the US and opened up online gambling to the populous, so PayPal generally have no worries about it.

If you really want to know you should read PayPal's Acceptable use policy for YOUR location and if still in doubt, email them and ask. You really don't want to be in a grey area and then find your account has been frozen!
