should I buy v3 ?

I cannot get url rewrite to work, I have tried it on SQL4 & 5.

If I purchase v3 will it work.. and what if it doesn't ?

url rewrite is going to be related to your server's configuration.
Your host can give you quick answer about this.
Have checked to make sure the .htaccess file is present?

This is the .htaccess that came with the download... it is in place in the root folder "phpLD"

This is the url where I have installed it (for testing purposes only)
://www.i-love-chocolate.co.uk
The URL has been rewritten (as you can see when you mouse over a link)
://www.i-love-chocolate.co.uk/Category1/
but the server will not access that page.
Using the .htaccess with "RewriteEngine On" should be enough? (I just added a 301 to test it and it works fine redirecting non-www to www)

I bought Version 3 a week or two ago and I don't see much difference from version 2 other than the google sitemap. I'm still waiting for my Detailed Pages......

Have you downloaded 3.02?
(It has this, but you have to edit link.tpl and add the new detail.php and detail.tpl files. You can see it working on www.businessplexus.com)

Will version have an option to add a small thumbnail for each link? If phplinkdirectory have something like this and only cost $25 it would be a blessing

It is pretty easy to use to add Alexa thumbnails in 2.0 or 3.0.
