I don't know if this is posted in the right section but I need help immediately.
I've bought a licence to access the supporters forum but when I click the supporter's forum link it tells me I have no access to that forum.
Can the right people respond and make this problem go away. Thanks.

While I won't word my plea quite so urgently, (I don't feel I was ignored and I don't need "immediate" access) but I also need to find out how to access the supporter's forum.

Maybe it's because I emailed details of my problem yesterday and I have still not heard anything today why my tone has the edgy urgency about it.
Either that or the fact that I expect good service if or when I spend my money on anything...

Well, I'm brand new here, and so I don't know anything about the program or the person responsible for admitting us to the supporter's forum.
I do know that it only costs $10 to join, so that tells me he probably doesn't make enough money here to be able to quit his day job. Based on that, I'm willing to be patient and cut him some slack.
I also run several forums, and I know that as an admin there's always too much to do, and too little time to do it.
For that matter, I'm not even sure how I'm supposed to ask for admission, so I'm not sure he even knows I exist yet.

32 minutes after the first post...
Normally, you can enter your username in your phpLD user area and grant youself access. If for some reason that is not working for you, please PM me your phpLD username.

I haven't installed the program yet, so maybe it would be obvious if I had, but I'm unclear on where I would find the phpLD user area?
I tried the user cp here in the forum but I did not see anything about a supporter's forum. For that matter, I'm not really clear if it's a private forum here on this board, or a separate forum entirely?

You just need to login on the left side of the homepage of this site. If you don't have an account yet, there is a place to register. I hope that makes sense.
(the forum is hidden until you are added, but is part of this board)
Thanks,
David

OK, I did that. I have an account, and it does say I purchased access to the supporter's forum.
However, when I click on the supporter's forum link it says I do not have access. I think maybe I confused it when I bought the access before I had signed up for the forum?

Ok, I am going to go ahead and grant access for you. I see your PM.

This comments made me laugh (eehehhhe),
I think he is doing quite well and self-employed (not sure yet),
but, David where can I find more info about you? I have been a member of this forum for a year and to tell you the truth, I only know few things about you.

lol mywebsearches, you know he likes to dance :D
@Bob, the support of versions 2.x is free though limited....
the support of versions 3.x is free as well, but we for obvious reasons don't want code floating all around the v2 forums...
i am sorry that donating an extra $10 seems steep....but it is what keeps the price of the script down...honestly is $25 or $75 a huge amount to ask for a script that just plain does what it says it does?!?

I see the SP by your name. That means you have access. You should see the supporters forum at the top of the forum homepage.
Thanks,
David

Actually, I didn't notice it until I just happen to read this post, but for some reason I no longer have access to the supporter's forum... $10 only covers two days?

You appear to have access right now. If you do, you will see the Supporters Forum at the top of the forum homepage.

You should be able to grant yourself access through your phpLD user area (login on left side of the homepage of this site). If not, PM me your phpLD username, and I will take a look for you.

I can see that you have access right now, because of the SP
We seem to have a little bug with your user area, but you should definitely see the Supporters Forum now from the forum homepage. If anyone else has trouble getting in, just let me know, and I will manually grant access for you.
Hi, it is me again. If the Supporters Forum is different from this one, then I havent been granted access. I still get the access denied message.
