Hello,

I am having a lot of trouble trying to upgrade with the Featured Mod.

If I download, Tarball link, my system does not know how to handle the file. Because of this, I was going through and reviewing the changes. The program does not provide a, "key," for deciphering the changes. I am thinking, outlined in red was replaced with code outlined in green.

Another problem I am having, is current files I have are not identical. For example, my file, "admin/init.php," does not contain lines indicated:

Content visible to registered users only.

I would appreciate anyones help.

I am really stumped with this mod.

I am attaching as a zip for now.
Feel free to test away.
Note: The Paid Link mod with Paypal IPN integration is due out today or tomorrow, and the final release of v2 will happen in the next 5-7 days.

Hello David,

I downloaded and tried running the zip-file. It seems there was a problem with a missing file named similar to adobdb-driver.inc.php.

I was able to load the install program, and proceeded through the installation completely. Once this was done, I could not open either my directory or the admin area.

I am re-installing my back-ups now. Please let me know if this was a missing file or if I did something out-of-order.

I just installed the latest version (33):

Everything worked without a hitch. Now I am trying to play around with some of the new admin features.

That's odd. I tried writing over the existing files using ftp software.

Should all the current files be removed prior to updating?

I'm not there is an easy upgrade to a dev version. It's probably better to do a new install. There will be an upgrade script for V2 final, however.
