Hi, I am looking for a solutions which makes it possible for me to mak categories with under that the links, all on 1 page. See example: www.startpagina.nl . Is thi possible like this using php lik dir? If not, know of other solutions that make this possible?

In fact you can use php link directory to do that. Just set the Subcategories preview config option to a big enough number, create all you categories in a flat manner (no subcategories) and adjust the templates.
I know it's easier said than done, but still this doesn't require any PHP coding. Just changing the templates.
