We paid for the software, but why we don't get a support forum for it and have to pay again to access the support forum?
We paid for PHPLD 3, we expect at least some support for it. PHPLD 2 is free, and got support.
If you want to make mods a paid access area, that's fine but general support for PHPLD 3 should be made available to the public, no?

The private area of the forum is the 'Supporters' forum and NOT a support forum.
While I do think a greater distinction should be made between the words 'Support' and 'Supporters', you will find that Support is available for version 3 whether or not you pay for the private supporters forum access, particularly in the unlikely event you find an actual problem with the script.
The supporters forum is primarly a place where ideas are shared, general questions answered and an availability of a wealth of other knowledge that can help directory owners.
If you do have a genuine problem with the script, post in the appropriate category and you will get an answer. If, however, the query is NOT directly related to the script, you might have to wait a while.
You should also compare the costs of phpLD with the price of similar scripts and you will be very hard pushed to find another script that offers as many features for the price.
Joining the 'supporters' forum is therefore highly recommended as you will gain access to the most common questions as well as mods and additions not available elsewhere... many of them free.
Bruce.

PhpLD 2 has a support forum, why not one for PhpLD 3?

When you purchase the software on this page (http://www.phplinkdirectory.com/articlescript/safe_index.php), you see this message:

Thanks,

Content visible to registered users only.
Thanks, that's fast.
Even with the US$10, I still think PhpLD is low price. :D
