A few months ago I announced (http://www.phplinkdirectory.com/forum/showthread.php?t=18711) the release a collection of mods bundled together as a great way to give a head start to any phpLD owners as well as add value to his directory.

The expansion pack is now available FREE for the 3.3 version with the same features + a bonus: the ability to allow a custom number of deep links to be submitted by users.

you mensioned about competible template as you provided 2.
it means not all the templates are competible? i am using GreyMar tepmate at http://www.worldwebdirectory.co.uk/. is it competible?

The template must be updated to support all the new features the expansion pack offers. Otherwise you'll be able to use only some of the features (mainly those that are related only to the admin area).
So while you could use a 3.3 template as it is, you won't get many benefits. Currently there are two ways in which you can overcome this problem:
-check the differences between the template files and modify accordingly (I'll also post some tips on the support forum - http://www.phpldaddons.com/forum/)
-hire us or another phpld developer to make the changes for you

If you have any other questions please use the exp pack support forum (link above) and always make a backup of your files if you're updating an existing installation.

I have installed phpLD and the expansion pack by over writing the files and running the install package.
I can not find where to set up "4 types of text link and banner advertisment options for your site fully integrated in the admin area"
please help me where to find the deep linking settings.

How much you charge if you do everything yourself coz I don't like editing my template
