Ok as my host swopped me to the the other server away from Windows, now I have another trouble with my directory, when I click any of the links on the main page and comes in there, and then want to go Home, its still goint to the page I am in, so if I press Activity, and then want to go home, it reloads to Activity page...
What is wrong now lmao.

Thanks mate, why complicate the uncomplicated? The smarty thing was written by smart people, the working version was written by dullheads like me
As for my girlfriend, Shepherd Girl (Wishful thinking ) don't bother trying to figure out why and what goes wrong, take the stance, I do, ours is to wonder why not to reason, if there is an answer that works then take it with open arms and say thanks after :)
Take care my little eyelash flutterer! You've had more favor of people on this site than most so just keep going girl your doing well. Good on ya!

Despite what it is "Supposed to be", nobody can write a script that will react the same on every server, and every browser.
Perhaps there is something on your server preventing it from working the way it is "Supposed" to work. It really does not matter, because as humans, we have the ability to overcome and adapt. if you run into a roadblock, such as you did, find a way around. In this case it is a simple absolute link, instead of an include.
This is your friendly guidance councilor, signing off. LOL
While your method works just the same as mine, I like to maintain an object oriented approach to things.
for example, if she wanted to shift the entire site over to a new folder, all she'd have to do it cut & paste the FTP's files and folders and never have to look back into a .tpl again, to revert to that new location.
If she ever decided to make a duplicate site on a different domain, she would never have to go back into the .tpl using the method i prescribed, whereas she would with the one you did.
it's just a more cleaner approach.

Hi anon,
David actaully gave me the tip so I kind of thought this was what phplinks was about. To be truthful I haven't a clue about php so your methods lose me. I am going to learn for even though I run the Company I am never to big to learn, perhaps then one day we can have an equal conversation on this as its frustrating to not know.
Luv ya! Sorry about raising to the bait mate, didn't have a clue it was you winding me up  Anyway as long as Shepherd girl understands what you explained that's cool by me.

indeed, that's what it is all about. 'learning' ;)
being able to provide several ways of doing things:
1. from a normal users standpoint
2. from Smarty's way
is always a benefit to everyone on the forums. not everyone wants to learn smarty, and that's understandable. (i just like learning new things)
luv ya right back
