Javascript problems

Hiya,

When I add a small javascript to my site (in main content) it attempts to run it in the admin panel. This consequently cocked it up, and now I cannot edit it at all. Is there anyway to void this?

Edit:- Secondly, do you know how to edit the main content via an FTP?

Turn off rte to edit the javascript and edit what main content cia ftp? what you added? that is in the database

Firstly, how do I turn of RTE, nd secondly, I uploaded all the directory files to my website via FTP thing, can I edit the main content in the FTP thing?
