Newsletter

I am wondering how difficult it would be to use the directory database to provide email addresses for a Newsletter to anyone that has submitted sites.

There would need to be a function that called all email addresses when typing the newsletter, but also something that allows the recipients to Opt Out of any future newsletters.

I know there is an email funtion included in phpLD, but I dont think there is any way that a user can Opty Out of any type of subscriptions

Yes, I also was thinking about this. Right now we are working on a new "User login" area, where they can login to add listings, modify listings or delete listings. Once this is completed, a newsletter would be a logical next step.
