View Full Version : Problem with Romanian language
Hello,
After installing PHPLD 3.3 (Romanian language selected) I hoped that the hole directory will be translated in Romanian. The language file it was very bad and the most part of it it was in English.
I tried to translate some of the phrases but there ar not appearing on the website. I have to mention that I deleted the temp filles many times.
I need a good Romanian language file and the solution to apply these.
A good day,

in the template file make sure that all words that you want translated are surrounded by
{l} and {/l} if they aren't then they won't be translated
example...in your menu make sure that the words submit link look like
{l}submit link{/l}
as for the translation itself...sorry :) but if you would like to work on translating it feel free to post your work afterwards :D
we are always looking for new (newer) languages (translations)
Hello,
Now i`m understanding how it works and it is ok, but i think that are some bugs when you edit a language from admin area. The phrases are not saved.
I`ll edit them in source code.
Congratulations for writting this script, it has a very clean source code.

I translated the language file but a new problem appeared, and I don`t now how to solve it. I`m not familiar with smarty but I understand Php.
When i click on creat new category the server return following error "[Sat Mar 15 02:29:36 2008] [error] PHP Fatal error: Smarty error: [in DefaultAdmin/dir_categs_edit.tpl line 40]: syntax error: unrecognized tag 'daca' (Smarty_Compiler.class.php, line 590) in /home/mallweb/public_html/libs/smarty/Smarty.class.php on line 1095"
I have to mention that I haven`t edit the sources off admin. I think that this tag was taken from the language file, with english file it works.
Pleas replay me.
Best regards,
Valentin Manescu
