Hi guys
I'm sure someone has mentioned something similar to this before, but I thought I might expand a little on something that would suit my situation perfectly.....
In the admin section, is it possible to include a way to backup/restore all or part of the database?
eg 1) Take a full backup of the database, including category names, all link info etc.
eg2 ) Take a backup of just the category names (including the PLD_CATEGORY_SEQ table). This would enable someone to change the category structure on 1 directory, export it, and then import it onto another site without having to go through the MySQL interface. OK, so it amounts to the same thing, but to do it through PHP Link Dir itself would speed things up somewhat...
Obviously you would be able to import the same options you could export....
The reason I ask is that I would imagine many people can only access their database through MySQL Admin tools on their hosting providers webspace, which would mean continuously logging in and out of various hosting accounts just to update a few things from 1 site to another!
Cheers
James
