how deep can the categories go?

I was just having a play, and I made a category that went 5 deep! WOW!

...is that normal?

Is it endless?

oh and also..can you add a general discussion forum to this place?
as I can't figure where to post questions like this.
(it's hardly support, just a question about category depths)

Yeah, unlimited subcategories are supported :D

Take a look at my site which is one of mine, the cool thing about it is that you can go as deep as you want and if you use arts as a keyword search on mine you will see that drilling down shows the other categories. Cool Heh :)
