i have just setup a php directory few days back and the pagerank for all the links show 0 ,, why
and the submition confirmation mail that i recieve at admin email says
PageRank -1 for all the links submitted
can any one guide me a bit here

It could be your host, but I'm not really sure.
Who do u host your site with?

i have just moved to new host a day or so back but this was on the previous host as well, i think its got to do something from site not host but can't be sure
i am with http://www.polurnet.com/ hosting now

i still dont see any PR for sites added in my directory although in admin"Dsiplay pagerank" is enabled (system>> edit setting >directory)
Is there any other thing i had to do like chaging any code any where
so they display pr's
the question is: did *you* modify any code? if yes, post code. if no, then everything works out the box, so...

not at all
just unzipped the phpld files , upload them,created a database + user
cmmod the folder/files required run setup
went to admin pannel , created a caatagory, removed only reciparocal link require option, and added a link in that catagory juts to check it shows pr or not
its still says N/A for PR
if anyone can look into this pls post here so i pm the log stuff

WHat is the link you are posting ??? And does it have a pr maybe not to new of a site to have one ???

Google blocks most webservers from making pagerank requests, so you may need to use antother method such as the PageRankUpdater tool.

just tried to set up a dr on a new host just to check if that the problem

The other one i am saying is at coolgraphics dot info

google blocks probably 90% of webservers from checking pagerank

Worked for me and also showed the page rank on the two links.

I use {url no longer in service} They have thebest Tech support I have evert had BUt themain reason I have them is unlimited Databases and You can put two or three websites on one
