It seems our Article Section (http://www.phplinkdirectory.com/articlescript/Articles/page_1/) has not been getting much attention lately, and we sure could use a few more articles. You'll notice most of the articles there now have a pagerank of 4 (and a couple are lower).
It would be great if someone could write an article with some good information about making a successful directory. Please don't make it all about adding links to the article. You can at least get one link at the bottom as credit.
Here are some good topics:
1. Building a niche directory
2. Building a regional or local directory
3. Adding quality content to your site
4. Importance of editing categories and removing links that are no longer of value.
