I have been using Arelis for my link directory, but I am looking for a more dynamic and functional php script to replace the online listing.
I have read there is a xml import function. Is it possible to import from Arelis to PHPLD and export from PHPLD to Arelis?
Another integration question: is it possible to integrate OSCommerce with PHPLD? Is there a mod available?
EDIT: does PHPLD have human verification to prevent spam/bots?

We can import a large part of the data like the links and categories. It may take a little help from one of our staff and cost about $30-35 range.

Mostly, just need to match the look and feel of the oscommerce site and interlink the two. Many have done this.

Yes, it uses captcha, and there are varying setting from weak to strong.

PHPLD checks if reciprocal links are still there. Is this done by cron or does the admin need to run a process?
Does PHPLD also check if site are still online? If yes, then is this done by cron? What happens if a link is no longer alive?

It is run through your browser in the admin area. You can check to disable non-working links, or links that no longer reciprocate. It is not done by cron.

Would you consider to add this in the future?
Is there integration of vbulletins member database available?

I believe some have done this already. We certainly have done crons for other features in the past. If a few people want it we will add it to the script in a future release. Or if you want it sooner, you can just pay for a couple of hours of programming time, and we can see that it gets done for you.

There is a mod now in the supporters forum that does this.
