Different free hosts??

OK I have a friend who is having their site in Freewebs.com! and for some reason its not working, the directory keeps telling him that they could not find the link back to the directory even though its there and I have added it for him 2 times as well just to be sure it all were right.

Any ideas.

OK I have another girl now not being able to add their site for some reason.
it keeps saying that they cant find the link code on their site.

can someone help me and maybe do a test.

Does the CHMOD have to be set as 777?

it seems that it has caused problems in the past.
