Regular links with reciprocal

Could anyone advise me on exactly how to stop people from submitting links to my directory for free, I have choosen to only accept paid or Regular links with reciprocal. Well I keep getting submissions without the reciprocal. How do I change to code to ensure I recieve the reciprocal or it will block them from submitting.

I even tried making all links paid links and they still submitted the site withOUT paying.

I think that is a natural process of running your directory. If you are charging, you need to let the public submit. Right?

Maybe emblazon the fact that it is a paid directory. Perhaps put up an ARE YOU SURE?? prompt/page. :)

You're always going to get freeloaders trying to get something for nothing.

Try installing a 'confirm email' mod, then just automatically reject any that don't confirm (and don't pay). I am willing to bet that 95% of those that don't pay on a paid only directory don't bother confirming, either because they are too lazy, or because they are not 'real' people.

You can always then set up a cron job to clear out those that don't confirm after a set period of days.
