Our directory has been running for a few days after the last mod and now we get a issues with main.tpl.php

Parse error: parse error, unexpected $ in /home/%site%/public_html/directory/temp/templates/en^%%72^72D^72DAF6E8%%main.tpl.php on line 44

Any ideas please?

There is no main.tpl.php

there is a main.tpl and it is located in the templates folder. You might check to make sure it has not been saved with a php extension accidentally. you may have to re-upload the file.

Tried the orginal main.tpl file no go!

main.tpl is in the templates dir
