What effect has different languages?

I whish to know if using different languages with phpLD has any problem?

what do you mean by different languages?
do you mean offering more than one at a time, that would require some heavy modifications

or do you simply mean having a directory in a language other than english?
Translations of phpLD (http://www.phplinkdirectory.com/forum/showthread.php?t=1794) has quite a few translations in it and throughout the International forums there are more translations.
You are more than welcomed to create a translation of the script if you like, we always appreciate the help :)
