well, I wish to show the directory statistics (Active Links, Pending Links, Categories..) on my main page. So, which is the code?

You can do a search on the forum for things like stats, which will then either:

1. provide you a quick solution.
2. provide you with knowledge of how to implement your own code.

what you request is easily doable. a little research goes a long way.
