Addional information when submit a link

Hello,

I want to modify some files to build more information when user submit a link. I just add more columns in database, add more form field in submit.tlp, but I dont know how to modify submit.php or else to proccess these information to database (I havent found where the INSERT query is to modify it).
So, could you tell me how to solve it.
