Howdy to everyone. I've been following the default categories import with much attention. Alas, none of them have worked for me. I'm using the newest 3.03 version, and I'm also a new member here. 8)
Anyhoo......... I went on a search expedition to find some default categories to import, and I finally did! But I had looked at sooooooo many sites, forums, boards, and newsgroups that I CANNOT remember where I got them from!! :cry:
But they did work perfectly for me, adding 431 categories in about the time it took to run the two queries! I've posted them on my Barns forums, as I can't seem to post an attachment here. These are meant for an empty database, or one that you know you want to delete to repopulate it with these categories. This WILL delete any current categories!!
Open the zip, read the readme.txt, the run the PLD_CATEGORY_SEQ query first, followed by the PLD_CATEGORY query. I'm no sql guru nor any type of programmer, so you're definately on your own with this!
