"error occurred while saving the link"

I'm getting this error while trying to submit a new link. The test installation on a different server, with the same configuration and going to the same database, works fine. Is it something really simple with a file permission?

Please help! I'm running the latest phplinkdirectory 3.0.2.

Hello! Firstly, I believe the latest version as of me typing is 3.03, you might want to check that out.

Can you describe your installation a little more? For example what do you mean about the test installation on the different server and using the same database? Have you:
Transferred your database (and other files) correctly?
Updated the configuration of your new installation?
Ensured that your new installation, if using the old database, has the correct access permissions?
Ensured that your files have the correct access (owner) permissions?
