FAQ # 1 : How can I change my Top Category images?

Answer: in the template directory have a folder with name “catimgs“, this folder contain images for top level category.
If your folder ID is 1, please rename a image as catimg-1.jpg with size 102px (width) & 65px (height).
file name is: catimg-[yourCategoryIDisHere].jpg
If you need more images for top category search http://www.everystockphoto.com/ or http://www.fotolia.com/
I use here all images from http://www.fotolia.com

Great template and very professional look and feel.

I have managed to work out most of the features with no support doco but have been unable to see where you set the SPNSORED LINKS shown on the RHS and also the pages I add all show up as Not Active even though they are set as such.

Assistance on this would just make it all hum for me as a first time ever user of any Directory tool.

side_bar.tpl = edit

scroll down till you see
{* Sponsor Links *}

that is where you go to edit them

while your there, scroll down till you see <div class="topslice">pages</div>
and change to <div class="topslice">Pages</div>

Template has a problem on IE7 (not quite as bad on IE8) when displaying less than 5 sub categories.

Any solution for this?

I have install the latest version of Php Link Directory 3.4 and Upload the Corporate Red Template in Template folder but its not showing in the admin panel, When I go to Template Manager. What will I do, can anyone suggest me.

make sure that the folder you uploaded is the actually template folder, if you open the folder what is inside it? another folder? or *.tpl files? what you should see is *.tpl files if not then remove the folder and reinstall the correct template folder

also have you made sure that this template has been upgraded to 3.4 or were you going to do that yourself?

I had him on my MSN for a while as he was going to do some custom stuff for me but never really got any sense from him....

Shame as this was the best Template I have seen..just had a few little problems that needed sorting out.
