Page numbers all link back to index page

Hmm, i just noticed something odd, where i have mulitiple pages in a particular category, clicking on the page numbers returns me to the home page.

i'm hoping that the only solution isn't to update to version 3, i dont really have $25 to spare atm.

i can find $10 that i would be happy to donate for a solution.

It's may be something to do with you editing your template files. See this post for similar and resolution:

Thanks for the suggestion Net, much appreciated. I have now replaced the templates files with the originals, sadly this hasn't solved the problem.
