Batch Add Categories

Would be nice to be able to batch add categories using a CSV or something?

I am having to manually add every country, county and town into the database one at a time :( Sigh

You can! CSV import is possible through myphpadmin, if that comes with your hosting account. Also see my sig for a database of categories, look at it and you can do it directly via sql statements. Most fields are self-explanatory after short investigation, but ask if something is unclear.

I use phpmyadmin all the time.

Did not really look into this as an option as I assume that each link would have seperate ID's etc, and oddly myself and many others included are not any good at writing sql inserts etc.

I was suggesting that an easy way to do this via the admin should perhaps be implemented for situations like this? :)

This feature might be rolled into the DMOZ import mod hopefully.
Still have to look at the structure of DMOZ. It would be nice to create a tool that accepts imports from mutiple data sources/types.
