not enough spaces to enter submit code???

i got a message from someone trying to submit saying they couldnt enter the entire code, when i tried it there wasent enough space. theres 6 letters to enter in the code but it only lets you type in 5. whats wrong here? is there something in the code i need to add to make this work?

nm, found where to fix it, not sure what happened to make it change in the first place though. for anyone else having this problem you can change the settings in captcha.php
look for line with this code and change the number to fit
$settings['phrase_length'] = '6';

If you actually used the search you would have found the answer which is to edit the submit.tpl instead of playing with the captcha.php and therefore losing yet another layer of spam prevention

any idea what made the thing glitch in the first place? i didnt change any code, it just stopped working.

was no glitch.

It was intentional from 2.1.x to 2.2.x to decrease spam bots
