View Full Version : Help needed: Can't log in to admin and categories are gone

When I go to log in I get the "invalid username or password" error.

I went into phpmyadmin (note: I did the "lost password" activity that was recommended on this site, but I don't know much about phpmyadmin) and the username and password look fine. I changed the password to see if that would help at all, but I still can't get it. In phpmyadmin it appears all the categories are still in the database, but none appear on the site.

The directory is {url moved or deleted}

Again, username/password seems fine but can't log in.

I'll pay $10 via paypal to whomever can help me fix this, and hopefully prevent it from happening again.

Thanks,
Dan

I'm just leaving, but I could fix this tonight (about 8-10 hours from now).
You probably want help faster though. :)
If you don't get help, PM me your details.
Thanks,
David

You haven't pointed your config file to a different database or something like that, have you?

sounds like your host is not properly set.

so you use: localhost
or
do you use: abcdef.mydomain.com

as your host for your databases ?
