Sponsored Links

I noticed several phpld sites that have a sponsored links section on their site. Does v. 3.2 or 3.3 support this, or is this a separate mod? I didn't see a place in the demo admin panel to set up sponsored sites.

It is a template edit.
It could be done via the admin but not by default nor is it a currently available mod.

I did a template edit and added some sponsored links manually to make sure it works. What I am also looking for is a means of payment for these sponsored links, like the featured link.

I have seen a few phpld sites (like xwebdirectory.com or sirpac.org ) that take the visitor to a page where they can purchase a sponsored link.

What would be the best way to create a page like that which produces a form for payment?
