Nice one!
A wonderful way to keep visitors on your site longer. :)

Thanks =) I thought that might be an added bonus. Plus, surfers always have the option to remove the frame. Like what Google does with regard to image searching.

Thanks again =) There are some possible issues (with regard to [Return] feature). So, if anyone has problems, post 'em here. I should be able to release this mod as production version this week.

Hmm, strange. Can you post URL so I can see it action. Can you also post your framed.tpl file. The mod does not reference pagerank.tpl.

I'm very interested in this mod but have a few questions...
Would it be possible for the top frame (i.e. my branded directory header) to contain some tools for the surfer such as:
- Vote/rate this site
- Add to favourites
- Contact listing owner
- Random button which would allow the surfer to view a random site within same category
- Next/Previous buttons for viewing sites in same category
Just some ideas which I think would add massive value to both the submitter and the surfer.

Content visible to registered users only.
- Vote/rate this site
Can be done using AJAX-Based Rating Method of [Rate Listing] mod.
- Add to favourites
Can be done by adding JavaScript bookmark button to border frame
- Contact listing owner
Can be done by adding link to [Contact Listing] mod to border frame, which opens in main frame
- Random button which would allow the surfer to view a random site within same category
Can be done by adding [Random Listing] mod button to border frame, which
opens in main frame (mod would require quick modification to select from same category)
- Next/Previous buttons for viewing sites in same category
Should be doable

Cheers Dan, just what I wanted to hear. I've steered clear from framed sites because they're usually quite naff, but looking at how Wordpress.com and indeed Blogspot treat frames, it's looking more desirable.
Next question: is it a good idea to use frames in this way?

Content visible to registered users only.
Sure, why not. But some listers might not like the idea of the Random link as surfers can then quickly and easily jump to other sites.

Actually, what I meant was save to favourites, which I believe you have a mod for?
I plan on having a navigation tab called "favourites" with the count in brackets (5). When surfer saves to favourites it increments the number before their very eyes - no refresh!
On the subject of saving, it would also be good to have some social bookmarking links too.
