Can you sell links if it is not a bidding directory

I don't really get the difference if both sell links. Could someone maybe post an example of each?

Hi,

The bidding allows people to increase the amount to return higher on the page where
the regular version they pay for a featured and then it is sorted according to your choice of options in the admin.

I recommend the regular one but at the end of the day it is your choice.
