Hi David,
Your home page (phpMySite.com) opens with black background in Firefox - you can't see any text. You may want to fix that
Works fine in IE...

I see that now. Thanks for letting me know.
Content visible to registered users only.
David,
In appreciation of all your hard work I will take it for a test drive.
Payment is on the way...
Suggestion for new script: something like combination of phpLD and phpMySite which would allow users to sign up for an account, than
First main script (phpLD) would create subdirectory something like mydomain.com/new_user/;
Second script (phpMySite) would let users to create small personal sites in that directory with all features of phpMySite.
In other words something similar to MySpace...
I have no idea if it can be done using one database and same script for all users but something to think about...
Thanks!

I am going exactly in that direction. :)
I hope to create "my space" type accounts for users of my largest discussion forum (www.dance-forums.com).
What I want to do first is make sure the script has a few more features first, but I won't wait too long. :)
Right now, I am adding a comments system to the script.
kudos on another script release.
now get your butt back to phpLD 3.04 and get everything working 100%
:p

is phpmysite better then the article script? I'm not sure what to get?
What are the advantages over Drupal?

phpMySite basically adds:
1) About page
2) Contact Form
3) Photo Album
Otherwise, it is very similar to the Article Script.
Shortly, we will be adding a comment system to both scripts.
With regard to Drupal, I would say that this script it much better optimized with the page urls and it is MUCH easier to make changes to the design.
Thanks,
David

Sure, I will try to PM you this later.
I hope you don't mind my asking, but what is the article script?
Thanks in advance.

In many ways, phpMySite is the Article Script with a photo album.
This is the Article Script: www.articlescript.org

Looking at the demo, I am wondering if this might be appropriate for my website however I would need to do some work on the template.
Can I ask some questions? I currently have some 60 or 70,000 fashion photographs www.amatas.com (http://www.amatas.com) posted that I have made freely accessible. I now want to limit the number of pages a visitor can access before asking them to sign in.
I also want to change the way I am currently holding them using a php database instead of separate html pages and Front page compiled galleries.
Although I am having some difficulties at present with the version of php (current 5.0.4 instead of 5.2) I will be loading Link directory to my site as I am building a database that is limited to fashion related industries in South East Asia.
I also have started a web forum and need to have that all linked to the one sign in?
Is all this possible?

This would be a pretty good amount of work. I'm sure it can be done, but it may take a good amount of time by a qualified programmer.

I have some additional questions that again realate back to my current website www.amatas.com (http://www.amatas.com)
1. Is it possible to batch enter photos. I normally can add up to 1000 images relating to one fashion designer at a time or am i committed to adding one pic at a time.
2. I take it is possible to build a directory and subdirectory structure similar to link directory.
3. Will you be adding additional features that say I can add text files as well or can this already do that?
4 I take it if I have all the pics labeled that they are all stored in the one directory?
5. Is there an improved template for the enlarged photo, could it be bought in as a main page with the thumbs above or below it?
The list goes on. from there it is possible jsut further programming but for the moment it is the need to load hundreds of photos at a time that concern me.

We could do some customizations for you. We just would need some instructions and then we could bill on an hourly rate.
Thanks,
David

Can you place ads and such in the sidebars, headers etc? What's the login for the admin demo?
