Need Help Integrating WordPress Blog into PhPLD

Hi I want to have a blog and forum as part of my directory to give more usefulness, traffic and PR to the directory. However, my programmer can't figure out how to integrate WordPress Blog into the directory itself or the forum. I want something like this site which is also a PhpLD directory except with some enhancement: http://www.lobolinks.com (http://www.lobolinks.com/).

Can anyone help?

Pretty simple

template the blog to match your directory theme

either do a db call to grab the top level categories or hardcode them

hi james - yes i have a programmer and he can't figure how to do it. we are already using a wordpress template for the directory but he couldn't get to integrate the blog into it. so maybe some help you can give will be helpful. thanks.

all it is .. is the worpress installed into a directory named blog ...........
