Enable URL rewrite not finding links

Hi


Ive just started mucking about with my site..

Ive enabled the URL rewrite feature but when I do and I click on a category on the homepage it cant find the URL...

If I disable it, it finds them no problems?

Is there anything else I shoud be doing?

I have just moved an existing directory to a new host and I'm experiencing the same problem.

Check that you have the correct .htaccess file. Sometimes when you move your directory the .htaccess gets changed. Do a search on here and you should be able to find some more info about that.

I believe that when you disabled the "HotLink Protection"

Check your .htaccess". I would check that "HotLink Protection" is not enabled. I have found a problem getting the "URL rewrite" to work when it is enabled.

it was my host not having htacess enabled on my site, but he has done it now..
