What Am I Doing Wrong?

I have Newstopica installed and running. I'm able to import news feeds with a cron job and it seems to be working. The problem Im having is that even though the feeds are updating I still have the same number of feeds in each category. For instance, I have a U.S. News category with an RSS feed from Google in it. It has been updating the feeds but I always have the same number of 20. All my categories are like this. I never have more than 20 and one of them I never have more than 11. What is happening to all the older news feeds?

i havent messed with the 'in-script' cron (i did it via SSH), but is there an option to set for deleting files after xxx amount of days?

I added that cron mod for 2.0 but did not set up the cron job yet to delete news. Under the options in Newstopica under delete old news, everything is set to any but don't you have to hit Delete Old News for it to actually delete the news. Im starting to get frustrated now. The most news feeds I can keep in a category is 20. Why one of them is limited to 11 is baffling me too.

I'm having this same problem. Did you ever get this fixed? Everytime news updates it seems the old news is removed?
