I have a problem with PhpLD V2 what happens it is that he/she appears the codes of the graph together.

I have installed PhpLD V2 in a server that buys recently and it happens that there is a problem in the graph that shows the file (captcha.php) in the letters that come out distorted they appear me all meetings in a single line and it is the other letters they don't appear this:

{image no longer available}

Try to modify some files like for example (captcha.php or libs/captcha /........) but I don't know which it could modify.

Maybe something of the server doesn't work well and for that reason it leaves me together error of the codes.

Somebody can help me in that file I can modify and in that line to solve that error or that or that I suggest to the company of Hosting where I have housed the Directory.

I find that that works with the GD 2 that which if it exists:

The same PhpLD v2 installs in another server of another company and there if it works perfectly it leaves me the visible letters.

Ask them on the error of Code to the company where i have the hosting the directory and I made them know the error and up to now they don't respond me.

It is likely related to the version of GD and the "Free Type" component.
3.0 offers more flexibility in the captcha.

I'm running 3.03 and I've got a problem with 1 or 2 of the captcha characters that randomly get chopped in half off at the bottom of the captcha display. I've seen this same problem in several other PHPLD installations, so the problem is not unique to my install.

I read the captcha fixes posted above and tried to see if these made a difference, but they do not. I've also tried modifying the $y variable, but it did not fix the problem either. How do I control the Y plane positioning of the characters? I'd like them to be roughly centered vertically.

BUMP!!!

I've upgraded to 3.04, but still see the same problem with Captcha.

Is there a way to adjust the vertical positioning?

Absolutely, my friend. If you read the fourth post in this thread, I mentioned that I already played with the $y variable, but it appears to have no effect.

BTW, I am now running 3.04 and it has the same problem. I also see this on a wide range of directories, so the issue appears to be commonplace.

Here's an example of what I am seeing. It's not every time, but rather every 4th or 5th time the captcha image is displayed. I understand that there is a randomness factor with the positioning, but it looks like the problem is with the limits or range that is set for the display coordinates.
