Noob needs help lol

hereswhat i have i have the 3.3 version and i used the create page to creat a new page i want to be able to post url links here so i need to know what to do to activate the page im lost please help

create the page
Edit it with the rich text editor( jsut like using word or the advanced editor here)
make sure you make it active
check off the show in menu
and make so everyone can see it.
