Upgrading -template query

Hello.

I am thinking of upgrading the phpld on my site from 2.2.0 to version 3.

I am very keen to keep the template that I am using now. I basically want the site to look exactly the same. Will this be a problem? Will I have to make many changes to my site as it runs now?

Adding things like the article feature will probably involve editing the existing design a little. If you are pretty good with design, you may be able to do it yourself. If not, typically designers charge somewhere in the range of $60-120 for something like this. We can offer this service if needed.

In terms of my links database that i am currently using (1000+), will the process of upgrading to version 3 change anything? or is the process relatively smooth?

Just upgrading the database is pretty simple. You just run the install and it takes care of the upgrade. Always backup of course.
