Hi, i've noticed i'm having issues when someone tries to sign up for a premium listing.. the normal submission works, but when trying to submit for premium it comes up with 'Invalid link id.'. The URL to the directory is www.nowdirectory.co.uk, so help please.
Thanks
Terry

Can you just turn off the requirement for Link ID in admin?

Where in the admin area can i do this?
Why you people don't want to go into your admin panel to see how things work is beyond me. You can't run a directory if you have no idea how it works.
system->edit settings->directory: *Enable ID: (choose No)

Wow, he got the hidden version of phpLD that did not come with a Link ID switch. Does he win a prize?

nowdir, if you like, I would be happy to login to your admin and see for myself, and fix it. On phpLD admin, the link ID swicth is at Systems/Edit Settings/ Directory/ second one from bottom.
*Edit** At least it is in 3.03. If you have a diff version, let me know, and I will look.

Ahhh... Version 2
Version 2 does not have a disable for the link ID. However, there was a fix for it, and it can be found here. http://www.phplinkdirectory.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=3624#3624
You have to keep in mind that Version 2 was a free product that offered only limited support. It did have some bugs, as all versions do, but it relied on the help of forum members to fix them. So, not all bugs were fixed in the downloadables. In almsot every case, if you find a bug, a solution can be found in the fourm somewhere.

Sorry to bump an old thread, but I just turned on the payment option in mine to check it out and I'm getting this same error. Version 3.03 and the link id option is "not" turned on. Any ideas?
tnx,
Mike
