When your link directory gets popular, it is common to have a problem with robots submitting to your site, which means you get overrun with submission to the point where you can't keep up. The visual confirmation mod helps to solve this problem, because a person must enter the code...a spidering script will not work.

One thing that we will need to add in the future are some additional configuation features in admin, so that you can for example turn visual confirmation on or off (or require reciprcal links...or not).
