Having fresh content on the frontend of this site is something we would love to increase. I don't know if anyone would be interested, but if you look through some of the existing articles on our site...

ex.
http://www.phplinkdirectory.com/articlescript/Testimonial_on_phpLD_and_Our_Support.php
http://www.phplinkdirectory.com/articlescript/Taking_Advantage_of_the_Down_Times.php

...I think you will see that you are likely going to receive a nice PageRank 5 link back. A couple of requirements/considerations:
1. The only link we can promise for an article will be a credit link, such as "This article was written by {your name} of {website}"
2. We prefer the link to be to a site that is related to the directory business or at least to webmasters as a whole, so please not unrelated links for the credit.
3. The article should be at least 500 words, and use good grammar, punctuation and spelling.
4. You must write the article exclusively for this site, and it cannot be republished elsewhere.

Here are a few ideas for articles that would be great:
1. Keys to creating a successful niche directory
2. Making money with a regional directory
3. Ten "Secrets" You Might Not Know About the phpLD Admin Panel
4. Ten Ways to Market your phpLD Directory

If you are going to write about one of the above, please reply so we don't have two people writing about the same topic.

Thanks,
David

David,

I'll do the 10 "secrets" you might not know about the phpLD admin panel.

Do you have a time requirement and should I PM it to you when it's finished?

No rush, but hopefully a few days?
PMing is fine with me. Thanks for taking the first one.

I would be interested in writing an article about having a successful niche directory.

Since my directory is brand new, It is only on its way to being successful, but it will arrive in short order.

Is this opportunity still available?

Yes, just let me know what you picked. I am definitely still interested. I'm actually surprised so few expressed interest when this is an easy PR 5 or 6 link.

David,

If you can give me a few weeks, I'll put together a 'Tweaks, Hints and Tips for phpLD' article.

Just been up to me ears the last few weeks with a 'moving soon'.. .. 'no we are not'..... 'yes we are'... situation, as well as having an extremely unreliable internet connection at the moment as I am hijacking someone elses connection at the moment.

Bruce.

Sure, and as long as you come up with something that is helpful and worth reading, I'm open to whatever you come up with Bruce. I too have been in the same situation with moving the last couple of weeks.

i recently helped someone elsewhere make their css background image clickable, i'd be happy to write how to do this if you want? it's just that so many people CAN achieve it, but they don't do it properly :)

You can PM it to me, or send a link to where you have it up (though remember the article has to be unique to this site).
