Smarty stops working all of a sudden

Hello everyone,

Today I just noticed a major problem Ultimate Directory (ultimatedir [dot] com) is experiencing. I notice the same problem at KiZex (kizex [dot] com) and it's related to Smarty. It throws a bunch of errors on both the submit page and the login page. For example on the submit page, leave everything blank including Link Type and just click on the submit button. It throws a bunch of errors which look like

Content visible to registered users only.However, even though it throws these errors, I receive an email that a link has been submitted. Example of how one of these emails looked like:

Content visible to registered users only.As you can see, all the fields are empty. I can't even login to the admin panel because I get similar errors. Also when you choose a link type and leave the rest of the fields blank and click on the submit button, it will even take you to the payments page!

I made no recent changes what so ever to the script or to the template. I think everything was fine till even yesterday because I was able to login to the admin panel on KiZEX.

Please help me find the cause to this problem.

One suggestion, if you made no changes recently, is to ask your host if they've made any changes. Usually when a directory site experiences problems with no changes on the user's end, it is the host that is to blame. Hosts will sometimes change configurations without letting the users know.

Second, delete temporary files, phpld/temp/templates/

EDIT: I just visited both sites and pressed Submit with different variables entered/not entered. They both seem to work fine. Maybe a short server glitch?
