Can someone please tell me what this means? It just happened..

If this just happened with nothing changed by you, the database could be down. Check with your host to see if the database server is up.

Host got back and Data base server is OK....any suggestions?

Where are you getting the error, which phpld version and who's the host, please.

just run the installer again to make sure it is all ok

Resolved.....it seems the config file was somehow comprimised. New data base created with new user and switched the user and password in the config file.
