Bug: Sorting links in Admin panel

The bug for "sort by category" in the admin panel that was listed as fixed here:

isn't working for me. I'm still getting that error -- on any attempts to sort on any of the link headings.

Please PM me your FTP details as well as info to log into your PHPLD admin and I'll have a look at it shortly.

The thread you mentioned wasn't reffering to the bug itself being fixed, but the personal issue that the person was having. Thus their problem was solved :)

Okay, then I'm confused about that other thread. What was that supposed to fix?

No offense intended here at all, Casey, but the FTP info, etc., would apply to my entire site, not just the directory which is in a subfolder -- I don't give that info out to anyone - to me, that's like my bank PIN. :shock:

The error they were having was fixed by that mentioned in the thread.
Was it the end all of it? I don't know, but I know it solved their problem in their install. I've not come across that problem with that page and the 'fix' offered didn't solve it. You're the first, so feel honored.

I actually downloaded the file provided by achafik in that thread and overwrote mine, and it worked. When I cut and paste, it did not work for me either, but not sure why.

That was the problem.

The code on page was different than that in the file.

I did the manual edit previously. This time I donwloaded the file as David suggested and it does indeed fix the problem.

Perhaps one of you admins can edit his post to correct or delete the posted code?
