install errors

Hi guys,

Nice app. I have it installed locally and everything worked fine.

When I loaded to web host account I got a couple of problems.

It wouldnt run without a /temp/templates folder - I had to create this folder as wasnt in the .zip source I downloaded.

I got an error for the tmp directory
Session Save Path writable? Warning: /tmp not existing or not writable

Is there anywhere I need to change this. I created a /tmp directory chmod it to 777 but it was still showing this error message. I am presuming this directory is where session ids are saved and cleasred but it didnt?

Anyone got any ideas where/what I have to d to fix this.

I think you may have some files missing on the upload.
It only takes a couple of minutes to install, so feel free to PM me ftp/db details if you are able to do that, or even post a url.

Welcome to the forums ebizbuys.

I was about to say the same thing as David.

The RC4 and Possible RC5 both have all the proper files and folders needed for the install. I'd really consider reuploading.

Hi ebizbuys,

If you are doing a fresh installation, you might have to create a directory called "templates" in the /temp directory if it's not there. Also, you have to chmod to 777 or something like that.
