I downloaded the plain txt version of the admin sorting fix posted here:

this worked for me, but when you try to sort the featured links, the featured links are not sorted... it loads the regular links and sorts them by the column you wanted the featured links sorted.
I wanted to post this to the same thread but it is locked.
